Properties of hybrids prepared from epoxy resin and hydroxy terminated poly(dimethyl siloxane) filled with silver nanowire and fumed silica |
초록 |
One dimensional nanostructures such Ag nanowire are expected to play an important role in fabricating nanoscale devices and nanocomposites. As a matrix of nanocomposites filled with Ag nanowire, hybrids of epoxy resin and poly(dimethyl siloxane) (PDMS) were chosen as they were expected to show good adhesion to various materials and mechanically strong enough. Mixtures of Ag nanowires and nanoparticles were prepared by polyol process and dispersed in the hybrid resin. In order to get fine dispersion of nanoparticles, poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) were used as wrapping agents of Ag nanoparticles and fumed nanosilicas were also introduced to prevent settling of the fillers. Electrical and thermal properties of the hybrids were studied and discussed from view points of interfacial properties of the systems investigated. |
