제목 Electroluminescence from Field induced polymer EL device with SWNTs
초록 Polymer electro-luminescence (OEL) device was designed with single wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs)-polymer nanocomposite working under alternating current (AC) field. The device was developed with top metal electrode/ fluorescence polymer with SWNTs /insulator/transparent bottom electrodes working under AC electric field. We employ n-type or p-type fluorescence polymer such as F8T2 and PFO respectively with SWNTs. The luminescence intensity was enhanced more than 5 times by small amount of SWNTs, highly dispersed in the matrix with help of a conjugate block copolymer dispersant, giving rise to approximately 70 cd/m2 at applied voltage and AC frequency of ±30V and 300 kHz, respectively. We also employ thin organic or inorganic dielectric layer to improve EL efficiency and work at low voltage. Our device provided very straightforward method to fabricate device structures which have great freedom in materials design issues concerned in conventional organic light emitting diodes
