Study on micelle formation of Poly(tyrosine-co-phenylalanine)-block-Poly(ethylene glycol) in aqueous media |
초록 |
Poly (amino acids) have attracted considerable attention in recent years due to non toxicity, biocompatibility, nutritional function and pharmacological efficacy as a drug carrier. Copolymers with hydrophilic blocks such as poly-(ethylene glycol) and hydrophobic blocks composed of biodegradable poly (amino acids) have a strong potential to be used as a drug carrier. In general hydrophobic drugs are physically loaded within the core of polymeric micelle or chemically conjugated with poly (amino acids) with subsequent polymeric micelle formation. Micelle formation of this amphiphilic copolymer in aqueous media was studied. |
