Preparation of nanosilvered cotton gauze using silver carbamate and their wound-healing properties |
초록 |
In this study, cotton gauze was successfully coated with silver to have antibacterial properties through a facile thermal reduction process at a low temperature using silver 2-ethylhexylcarbamate as the staring material. The cotton gauze modified with 3-mercaptopropyl triethoxysilane was padded with a solution of silver 2-ethylhexylcarbamate in isopropyl alcohol and then reduced for the in situ generation of Ag nano particles by only heating at 130 ℃. The silver coated cotton gauze was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive X-Ray (EDX). The results indicated that the silver nanoparticles were assembled on surface with a size range from 20 to 100nm. The antibacterial effects of treated cotton gauze against bacteria and virus were examined and found to be excellent. |
