제목 Electrospun non-woven mat of PLA/CS blends containing silver nanoparticles and its antibacterial properties
초록 The non-woven mats of Poly(lactide acid) (PLA)/ Chitosan (CS) blend and of silver containing PLA/CS (Ag/PLA/CS) have been prepared by electrospinning method. The morphology of the electrospun (e-spun) non-woven mats and the formation of Ag nanoparticles on the surface of the e-spun fibers were observed by FE-SEM and TEM. The size of Ag nanoparticles is increased while their number is decreased with higher concentration of CS in the blend of Ag/PLA/CS or by heat annealing e-spun fiber of Ag/PLA/CS blend. The thermal properties of the polymer blends were examined by DSC. The mechanical property of the PVA/CS blend non-woven mats was evaluated by a tensile tester.
