제목 Functional Multilayer Thin Films Based on Block Copolymer Micelles
초록 In this presentation, highly nanoporous films composed of two different block copolymer micelles (BCMs) assembled by the LbL deposition were prepared on substrates. The films thus prepared show tunable optical properties along with strong antireflective properties with light transmission above 99%. In addition, the incorporation of water-insoluble spiropyran molecules into the hydrophobic cores of the BCMs in the multilayer films yields multifunctional nanoporous thin films with both antireflective and photochromic properties. This kind of LbL deposition with nano-objects allows us to mimic the nature such as Lotus leaves as well as to establish useful platforms for biomedical research. Considering the wide application areas of LbL multilayers, which are capable of incorporating functional objects at a desired position within the film, the approaches taken in present study are likely to open up new possibilities for devices or systems with multifunctional properties.
