제목 Effect of drying parameters on physico-chemical properties of sodium silicate based silica aerogels
초록 Effect of temperature on the physical properties, such as gelling time, bulk density, and percentages of porosity, pore size distribution of silica aerogels are reported. It has been observed that within the temperature 25oC- 60oC gelation time decreased from 6 to 0.30 at the pH 2.5. Effects of drying parameters and various Volume % MTMS on the physical properties (Monolithy, surface area, pore size distribution) of the silica aerogels have been investigated. It has been observed that in order to obtain crack free aerogels at ambient pressure it’s necessary to strengthen the gel network during aging of wet gels.
