Fabrication of micro-spheres from calcium alginate/TEMPO oxidized cellulose nanofiber loaded b-TCP powder for injectable bone substitute application. |
초록 |
The main purpose of this study was to fabricate micro-spheres from calcium alginate with TEMPO oxidized cellulose nano-fiber loaded with b-TCP powder to use as a filing material in a injectable bone substitute system. The micro spheres was fabricated with mean size diameter 1mm, homogenous about the size and spherical shape. the spheres were characterized by FT-IR for chemical bond and functional group, scanning electron microscopy and light microscopy were use to check the inner structure, compressive strength was used to confirm for the mechanical properties of micro-spheres. After that, in-vitro and in-vivo studies were used to confirm for the biocompatible of micro-spheres and its suitable to use as implantation biomaterials. In addition, the results showed for some advantages of micro-spheres about the biocompatibility compare with some commercials cement product. |
