The catalytic activities in Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis (FTS) on Co/P-Al2O3 have been investigated. The P modified Al2O3 support was synthesized by using the sol-gel method with H3PO4 addition at different P/Al ratio (up to 0.5). The catalytic activity on Co/P-Al2O3 was optimized at P/Al ratio around 0.05 with the respect of CO conversion and C5+ selectivity. On Co/0.05P-Al2O3, the CO conversion and C5+ selectivity were maximized around 32 % and 83 % respectively at the following reaction conditions; T=220 oC, P=20 bar and SV=2000 L/kgcat/h. These differences in FTS activities were elucidated by results of BET, TPR and XRD analysis. |
