제목 | Fabrication of Conducting Polymer Nanomaterials and Their Applications |
초록 | Conducting polymer nanomaterials with various morphologies including spheres, core-shell structures, nanotubes and nanowires were fabricated and their optoelectronic properties were investigated. Thermodynamically stable microemulsion micelles have been utilized as nanoreactors. Low temperature synthesis in microemulsion polymerization allowed the production of polypyrrole (PPy) nanoparticles in dimensions of several nanometers. Fullerenes and graphite nanoparticles could be fabricated through the carbonization of PPy nanoparticles. This novel approach demonstrates the first top-down synthesis of fullerenes under ambient carbonization temperature and normal pressure. Photochromic dye/conducting polymer core/shell nanospheres were prepared and their photoluminescence properties were investigated. PMMA-coated PPy nanomaterials were also synthesized, and utilized as an excellent transparent conductive filler. A template-mediated vapor deposition polymerization (VDP) was performed to fabricate 1-D conducting polymer nanomaterial. Multi-layered composite nanotubes or nanofibers were successfully synthesized and their fluorescence properties were investigated. |
