Arrays of nickel(Ni) nanowires(NWs) were produced by electrochemical deposition method of nickel ions onto the array of alumina nanoholes. The diameter and length of the the Ni NWs are 70-80nm and 3-7μm, respectively. The Ni NWs had ferromagnetism and shape anisotropy to the parallel and perpendicular direction. Especially, Importantly, only parallel direction of Ni NWs has drastic change of coercivities at 50K, which is different from the previous reported results. Phase-transition behaviors at 50K are explained by three factors of magnetoeleastic effect, degree of thermal fluctuation of magnetic spin moments, and shape anisotropy. |
