제목 The Impact of Energetic Disorder in Bulk-Heterojunction Organic Solar Cells with Space-Charge Effects
초록 We investigated photocurrent efficiency loss caused by space-charge effects in organic solar cells to study how energetic disorder incorporates space-charge effects, using a drift-diffusion model with field-dependence dissociation of charge-pairs. We found that energetic disorder differently influences on the photocurrent efficiency depending on the mobility of charge carriers at high light intensity. In the case of which lower-mobility charge carriers are subject to energetic disorder the photocurrent efficiency loss is reduced with increase of the energetic disorder. By contrast, energetic disorder for higher-mobility charge carriers at high light intensity gives rise to a more serious loss of photocurrent efficiency. Our results show that energetic disorder is applied only to the charge carriers with lower mobility in organic solar cells and hence it can decrease the loss of photocurrent efficiency.
