Robust Organic Field-Effect Transistors with Integrated Sensor Array Applications |

Polymeric semiconductors are one of the most promising electronic materials because of their high-performance, flexibility, and simple processibility. However, their major drawback is the low stability in various environmental conditions. In this research, we adopted a high-performance polymer semiconductor with transparent graphene electrodes, which showed ambipolar property and high robustness against organic solvents. The fabricated transistor devices showed both high-performance and superior stability in various organic solvent. FET-type sensors based on the polymeric semiconductor successfully detected acetone vapors. In addition, a transparent 10 × 10 transistor array device was demonstrated with uniform electrical properties and photoresponsivity. This research shows a viable way for the practical applications of polymeric semiconductors. |
