Facilitated CO2 Transport Membranes Employing Ionic Liquid/Copper Nanocomposite |

We suggest copper nanoparticles as CO2 carrier by employing ionic liquid for facilitated transport membrane. The copper nanoparticles were prepared by dissociating copper metal into ionic liquid as a facile synthesis. The interactions between anions of ionic liquids and the surface of copper nanoparticles caused the Cu surface to be partially positively charged, resulting in increased activity in copper-CO2 complexation. |
