Graphene is defined as sp2-bonded honeycomb lattice planar sheets and has unique properties such as high electrical conductivity, flexibility and optical transparency. Thus, it can be used as transparent electrodes for many applications. There are many methods to produce graphene nanosheets by using physical, chemical and combined approaches such as the mechanical exfoliation, epitaxial growth on SiC, chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and exfoliation of graphite oxide. Here, we reported functionalization of graphite with maleic anhydride via Diels-Alder reaction. The characteristics of exfoliated graphene were examined by Raman, SEM and XPS. In addition, the conductivity of resultant graphene film was measured by four-point probe method. |
