제목 Effect of surface functional groups on Pt/CMK-3 catalysts for the hydrogen production via aqueous phase reforming of ethylene glycol
초록 In this study, we investigate how the surface functional groups on OMC support can enhance the catalyst activity for APR of polyol. CMK-3 support having a 2-D hexagonal structure was used as a support material and prepared using 4 different carbon precursors such as FA (furfural alcohol), SC (sucrose), MP (mesoporous pitch), and GL (glucose) to know the effect of surface oxyfunctional group. Among the tested catalysts, the Pt/CMK-3 catalyst synthesized with SC as the carbon precursor (Pt/CMK-3-SC) shows excellent H2 production yield for APR reaction. The improved performance might be attributable to preventing Pt agglomeration during the reaction with the presence of more oxyfunctional groups on CMK-3 support
