Polyaniline(PANI) nanocomposite was prepared by the oxidation polymerization of aniline monomers in the presence of Au nanoparticles and water-soluble polymers. First, PVP and NaHCO3 was dissolved in distilled water at 95°C and then HAuCl4 aqueous solution was added to this solution. When the reduction of HAuCl4 was carried out, Au particles were on the order of 5~20 nm. Second, polyaniline was polymerized by conventional chemical method. To obtain PANI/Au nanocomposite, additional stabilizers of different concentration such as PVP(Poly vinyl pyrrolidone) and HPC(Hydroxy propyl cellulose) were used in this system. The PANI/Au particle systems were characterized using UV/visible spectroscopy and FT-IR spectroscopy. SEM and TEM were used to observe the morphology of the PANI/Au composite. |
