Semitransparent Organic solar cells (OSCs) have great potential to construct window of building-integrated photovoltaics which can provide a clear view and harvest energy. However, it have drawback which is lack of transparent top electrodes with high optical and electrical properties. Indium tin oxide (ITO) is generally used as transparent electrodes due to its visible transmittance>90% and sheet resistance<15 Ω/□. Despite superior properties of ITO, it is not suitable for top electrode because organic layer is easily damaged by sputter deposition and high temperature. Although there are lots of attempts to replace ITO with alternative electrodes, these are still required to enhance performance of transparent top electrode for devices fabrication. Recently, we developed an outstanding polymer-Ag (PA) electrode with visible-range transmittance>95% and sheet resistance<10Ω/□. In this work, we fabricated high performance semitransparent OSCs with PA electrodes as a top electrode. |
