Highly active and durable polymer supported electrocatalysts for electrochemical water splitting |
초록 |
Designing and synthesis of non-noble bifunctional electrocatalyst for water splitting have attracted much attention in recent years. Herein we have reported growth of polymer supported metal organic framework (MOF) derived electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The obtained hierarchical morphology and synergistic effect of bimetal exhibits outstanding catalytic properties such as accelerated mass/charge transport, high electrochemical surface area with abundant exposed active sites and optimized adsorption energy for intermediates for OER and HER. The role of polymer in achieving high catalytic activity and stability is elaborated in detail. This work may open new era to develop new polymer based electrocatalysts for various catalytic applications |
