제목 | Synthesis and characterization of a promising Cu2FeSnS4 solar cell absorber layer by PLD technique |
초록 | ABSTRACT In this study, first time we have synthesized Cu2FeSnS4 (CFTS) absorber layer. The target was prepared by ball milling and used for pulsed laser deposition technique. Effect of various deposition times on the morphological, structural, compositional, and optical properties of CFTS thin films was studied. Field emission scanning electron microscopy studies on the CFTS thin films showed that all the films were uniform with grain size in the range of 800 to 1000 nm and increased thickness with deposition time. X-ray diffraction and Raman study on the CFTS thin films showed that all the films were in Kesterite phase along with some secondary phases of tin. The crystal structure of the CFTS thin films was improved with increasing deposition time. X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy study showed that higher deposition time deposited films were Cu rich. Ultraviolet- visible spectroscopy study showed absorption edge at nearly 800 nm and band gaps of the films were found to be in the range of 1.6 to 1.7 eV. |
