Langmuir-Blodgett Manipulation of Tips-Pentacene |

The Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique is used to deposit monolayers Tips-Pentacene on SiO2 substrate. Tips-Pentacene spread from a chloroform on Water surface forms a stable monolayer. The stability of the Langmuir film of Tips-Pentacene was tested by two different methods, compression/decompression cycling and kinetic measurements at the air-water interface. The morphology of LB film was investigated by atomic force microscopy (AFM). |
