제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Low Band-gap D-A Polymers based on New Quinoxaline Derivatives for OPVs
초록 In this work, electron accepting quinoxaline (Qx) monomers (Qx1 and Qx2) were newly synthesized. Two classes of D-A alternating polymers (PBDTTQx1 and PBDTTQx2), which using an alkylthiophene substituted benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene (BDTT) as an electron-donor and quinoxalines (Qx1 and Qx2) as new electron-acceptors, were synthesized via a Stille coupling reaction for use in organic photovoltaic devices. The HOMO levels of PBDTTQx1 and PBDTTQx2 thin films were found to be -5.36eV and -5.29eV, and the optical band-gaps were calculated to be 1.77eV and 1.8eV, respectively. Organic photovoltaics devices made from PBDTTQx1 exhibit a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 4.94% when it is blended with PC71BM as an active layer material in bulk hetero junction solar cell.
