Influence of carbon nanotubes on high electrochemical performance of microporous carbon prepared by activation-free method |

Well-balanced micro- and mesopore contained porous carbons were prepared with by poly(vinylidene chloride-co-acylonitrile-co-methacrylate) (PVCAM)/multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs). The effect of mesoporous MNWTs as an electrical additive on the electrochemical performance of microporous carbon was investigated. From the CV results, the electrochemical performance of P-MWNTs was higher than that of P-MCs, and the specific capacitance (252F/g) of P-MWNTs was higher than P-MCs (211F/g). This was suggested that well-balanced meso- and microporous features by the combination effect between MWNTs and microporous carbons. |
