제목 | Antitumor efficacy of temperature-sensitive liposomes modified with thermosensitive polymer by hyperthermia |
초록 | The temperature-sensitive liposomes (TS-liposomes) have been developed in the field of the chemotherapy to increase drug release at tumor site. In this study, we used polyethyleneglycol coated TS-liposomes (PETS-lipoosmes) modified with a thermosensitive polymer, poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-acrylamide) (PNIPAM-AAM) in combination with hyperthermia to treat a mouse tumor, B16F10 melanoma. In tumor treatment, intravenous injection of the modified PETS-liposomes with PNIPAM-AAM in combined with hyperthermia suppressed the tumor growth and generated smallest tumor in volume (Fig. 1). Thus, our results demonstrate the potential of the modified PETS-liposomes in tumor treatment and are valuable in designing thermosensitive polymer modified PETS-liposomes for use as drug delivery systems on the specific tumor targeting by external hyperthermia.
