The influence of NBR/H-NBR blend ratios and crosslinking agents on the mechanical properties of NBR/H-NBR vulcanization was investigated. There are various crosslinking agents which are related with unsaturation of polymer backbone for curing of NBR/H-NBR blend, has advantage of oil resistance. It was observed that the maximum mechanical properties are achieved in case that sulfur curing system is applied to NBR and peroxide system to H-NBR, but decreased when blending two polymers. It is also elucidated that the declination of mechanical properties of sulfur curing system is observed in severe test condition with high temperature. In this study, the H-NBR/NBR vulcanizates that is blended by each ratio of 75/25 and cured by using peroxide system, better thermal properties of blend are more significantly depend on ACN content than curing system of it. |
