Recently organic semiconductors have been highlighted in a variety of applications such as displays, memory devices, energy conversion devices, photosensors, etc. These applications include organic field-effect transistors (OFET), organic solar cells (OSC), organic light-emitting devices (OLED), and organic photodiodes (OPD) and/or phototransistors (OPTR). The primary reason of attracting keen interest in these devices can be attributed to their low-cost manufacturing due to low temperature and inexpensive wet processes. In particular, the wet processes have a potential to fabricate large-area devices, which is extremely advantageous compared to inorganic devices. In this work we attempted to make highly sensitive polymer phototransistors according to the light intensity by employing polymer bulk heterojunction sensing layers which include conventional polymer/fullerene mixtures. |
