제목 Semitransparent Organic Photovoltaic Cells using a Yb/BCP/Metal/Dielectric multilayers as transparent conductive electrode
초록 The conventional dielectric/metal/dielectric (DMD) multilayer exhibit excellent flexibility, high conductivity and good transparency in transparent organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs). In the present work, we introduce WO3/Ag/WO3 (WAW) as anode electrode and Yb/BCP/Ag/WO3 (Yb/BAW) as cathode electrode. Here, Yb/BCP hybrid multilayer is used as an effective electron transport layer. The cells with Yb/BAW that are more ohmic than with BAW due to interfacial doping by Yb, such that voltage loss due to interfacial band bending can be effectively suppressed. The transparent OPVs composed of WAW/P3HT:PCBM/Yb/BAW recorded power conversion efficiency (PCE) of up to 2.42%, achieving 65.4% of the fill factor (FF) in one sun irradiation. The results indicate that Yb in transparent OPVs is vastly superior to other ETLs as it improves the majority of the parameters including the short circuit current, FF and PCE.
