The present study is to determine the rheological properties according to the type and content of Difunctional monoers in the acrylic thickener synthesis. Using the emulsion polymerization was conducted to synthesize, main monomers EAM(Ethyl acrylate), functional monomers are MAA(methacrylic acid) , Methacylic ester monomers, the chain transfer agent is EHMP(ethylhexyl mercaptopropionate), Difunstional(cross-linking) monomers HDDA(1,6-HEXANEDIOL DIACRYLATE), DAP(Diallyl phthalate), ALMA(allyl methacrylate), EGDMA(Ethylene glycol dimethacrylate), emulsifier is an anionic emulsifier of SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), and initiator was used for APS(Ammonium persulfate). mixing the synthetic thickener in ion-distilled water creating a 2% solution, given the PH changed by using the amonia hydroxide was confirmed rheological properties. |
