Synthesis of Hypercrosslinked Polymeric Particles with High Specific Surface Area |
초록 |
Hypercrosslinked polymeric particles with high specific surface area and small ( < 10nm) pores were synthesized by Friedel-Crafts reaction. At the initial step, dichloro p-xylene (DCpX) and Poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) stabilizer were mixed in dichloroethane (DCE) solvent. This organic solution of the monomer and stabilizer mixture was converted into porous materials by Friedel-Crafts reaction with Lewis-acid catalyst, ferric chloride. The prepared particles are possible to use in conventional applications and new energy storage field. The finer details of the particles and their surface morphologies were investigated using SEM. The specific surface area and pore size of the hypercrosslinked polymeric particles were measured by BET method. |
