제목 Facile fabrication of the porous PVDF-HFP membrane via improved phase separation method
초록 In this work, we report on a novel approach for fabricating the large-scale thin Poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP) film with customizable sponge-like porous structure. Porous film is produced by using a facile dip-coating technique and based on the concept of NIPS, in which a mixture of a volatile solvent and a nonsolvent is applied onto a pre-prepared polymer film to induce phase separation through solvent evaporation; consequently, resulting in the formation of porous structure. Experimental results showed that the porous structure is composed of interconnected microbumps with pore diameter range of 510 µm. Importantly, the porosity and the structural size of the porous structure can be effectively controlled by regulating the composition of the mixture and drying conditions. Based on the calculation of polymer-solvent interaction parameter, the appropriate mixture solvents are identified.
