제목 Fabrication of catalyst layer in electrode for high temperature polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell
초록 Polybenzimidazole(PBI) has been studied as a binder of catalyst layer and membrane in high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC). Lithium chloride(LiCl) prevents PBI from aggregation. In this study, various catalyst layer were prepared with different contents of lithium chloride from 0% to 30% to improve pore structure of catalyst layer. For cell test, the membrane electrolyte assembly(MEA) was fabricated with commercial Pt/C having Pt-loading of each 0.5 mg/cm2 at anode and cathode, respectively. As-prepared GDE of various pore structure was identified by SEM, EDX, XRD, and FT-IR. The cell was evaluated under high temperature condition.
