Lithium ion batteries (LIBs) have been received many attention because its application for electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). To improved properties of LIBs, many researches have been carried out in various fields. However, fire or explosion caused by liquid electrolyte was became important issue. To overcome this problem all solid-state polymer electrolyte (SPE) was standing out as an alternative. In case of SPE, liquid components were not included and could be behave as separator. Among various type of SPEs, PEO-based SPE have attracted interesting because its high capability of dissolving lithium salt and good ion conductivity at high temperature compare to current liquid electrolyte. However, semi-crystal structure of PEO polymer has become a hindrance to high conductivity required level. Therefore, in this study, polymer blend technique was conducted to overcome problem and the ion conductivity assessment of manufactured electrolyte was carried out. |
