제목 Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nano particle by the Polyol Method and its Optical properties
초록 Zinc oxide nano particles are successfully synthesized. Zinc salts and polyol solvents were mixed together and heated about 200℃. The zinc oxide powders have nano size of 20nm or less. The UV transmission of ZnO dispersion sol in the wavelength range from 290 to 380nm is about 1% when visible light transmission in the wavelength range 550nm is about 90%, indicating that the ZnO dispersion sol have an excellent UV cut-off capability. The products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and UV-vis spectrometer.
