제목 Synthesis of a new polymeric host material for efficient organic electro-phosphorescent devices
초록 We have synthesized a new polymeric host material for phosphorescent dyes for the phosphorescent light emitting layer. An alternating copolymer composed of N-alkylcarbazole and tetramethylbenzene units was synthesized through Suzuki coupling reaction. We fabricated electro-phosphorescent devices using the synthesized polymeric host doped with solution-processible green and red phosphorescent dyes. The device with one of green dopants in polymeric host showed the best device performances with maximum luminous efficiency of 29 cd/A. Thin film of the polymeric host with one of green dopants was successfully patterned through the laser induced thermal imaging (LITI) process, and electro-phosphorescent device using the patterned film was fabricated. The patterned device shows no significant changes in device performances compared to the spin-coated device.
