In this work, mesoporous carbons were prepared by the NaOH activation using Rice Husks for catalysts in direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs). The rice husk mesoporous carbons were prepared different amounts of NaOH, i.e., 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4g as an activating agent. The bimetallic were deposited onto activated by chemical reduction method. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) were used to characterize the mesoporouse carbon support materials and the catalysts. The effects of metals alloy content on the electrochemical behaviors of the bimetallic supported mesoporous carbon were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV). |
