제목 Techno-economic optimization of a small scale LNG liquefaction plant
초록 Recently, there is a growing interest in pollutant emissions that can cause serious air pollution. In this regard, natural gas is one of the most promising energy sources among various fossil fuels because of lower COx, SOx, and NOx emission during combustion. Natural gas liquefaction processes are very important in the natural gas value chain because natural gas can be liquefied for long-distance supply. Small and movable natural gas liquefaction processes are in the spotlight to address energy imbalances in islands and isolated areas. In the same context, this study investigates a single mixed refrigerant process, a nitrogen expander process, and a self-refrigerated process to find the most suitable liquefaction process for a small and movable natural gas liquefaction process.
