Effect of Ag decorated carbon nanotubeon electrical conductivity |

In this study, we proposed a simple approach to decorate carbon nanotube with silver nano particles in order to enhance the electrical conductivity of carbon nanotube. Carbon nanotube was functionalized by using ball milling with ammonium bicarbonate. By reduction of silver ions in dimethyl formamide, Silver decorated carbon nanotube was fabricated. The Ag decorated carbon nanotube was able to applicated as conducting materials in transparent electrode. The electrical conductivity and TEM of the Ag decorated carbon nanotube were measured and compared with pristine carbon nanotube and functionalized carbon nanotube. |
