Synthesis and Characterization of Na0.6Ni0.3-xMgxTi0.7O2as Anode Material for Sodium Ion Battery |
초록 |
Until now, Lithium-ion batteries (LIB) have been widely applied in various electronic devices and have been expected to be most applicable power source for future electric vehicles because lithium ion system can provide higher energy density among other systems. However, as the demand for LIB increased, Sodium-ion batteries (SIB) has been studied as next generation rechargeable batteries due to limited amount and high cost of Lithium source. Compared to LIB, SIB system is more desirable in view point of cost due to more abundant and wide distribution of sodium source. Many of the reported electrode materials have layered structure in which Na ion can intercalate during the electrochemical reaction. Among promising materials, NaxNix/2Ti1-x/2O2 has layered structure and showed promising performance as a bi-functional materials for SIB system. In this study, Mg and Ni doped sodium titanate is synthesized and characterized as anode material of SIB. Amount of Mg and Ni dopant in Na0.6Ni0.3-xMgxTi0.7O2 is varied from x=0.0 to x=0.1 and the structure and electrochemical reaction behavior depending on the amount of Mg dopant is analyzed. |
