제목 | Effect of Solution-processed pH-Neutral Polyelectrolytes as a Novel Hole Collecting Layer to Decrease Energy Barrier |
초록 | To improve the charge selectivity at the electrodes and to minimize the energy barrier for charge extraction, a hole-transporting layer (HTL) with electron-blocking properties is inserted between the anode and the active layer. The polymer, PEDOT:PSS, is the most widely employed as a HTL material for organic electronic devices because of its solution processability, appropriate work function (WF), sufficient conductivity, and high optical transparency in the visible-NIR region. However, PEDOT:PSS is highly acidic, and the strong anisotropy in electrical conduction in spin-coated PEDOT:PSS layers. In this work, we present the synthesis and detailed characterization of new pH-neutral interlayers which could replace the acidic PEDOT:PSS. These polymers were comprised of conjugated backbone with hydrophilic side chains of sodium butane sulfonates to dissolve in water and alcohol. And the WF was changed to control the conjugation length of polymer. |
