Self-Assembly and Superstructure of Organically-Capped Silver Nanoparticles on substrates |

A series of alkylated silver were synthesized by the reaction between silver perchlorate and a series of alkylated amines in organic solvents at room temperature by adopting a precise 1:1 stoichiometry. They were largely monodispersed in solution and self-assembled to show various fully crystalline nanostructures in ambient conditions. The various nanostructures of the silver nanoparticles appeared by exposing a diversity of conditions. The morphology and physical properties of the samples were characterized by scanning and transmission electron microscope, thermogravimetry and UV–vis spectroscopy. |
