제목 Film Formation and Micro-Patterning of Anisotropic Gold Nanoparticles for Biosensor Application
초록 Because gold nanoparticle(AuNP) has many advantages, which are resistance toward oxidation, biocompatibility, and optical property, it has been actively used in biological application. Recently, surface plasmon resonance(SPR), a unique optical property of AuNP, obtains a great interest in bio-sensing application. In order to use AuNPs for sensing biomolecules, the surface engineering of them is essential. Therefore, we used anisotropic AuNP and polyelectrolytes to create surface functionalized AuNP by using layer-by-layer deposition process. Here, we report our study on optimal polyelectrolyte coating for AuNP and micro-patterning of the modified AuNPs in conjunction of microfluidic system. Based on the results, we could envision a great potential of this system to biochip application.
