Hydrogen gas has been attracted much attention owing to the potential application for fuel cell. In order to facilitate hydrogen gas with safe, the rapid and accurate detection of gas leakage is required due to the high flammability and explosiveness of hydrogen. Metal oxide has been widely studied for fabrication of gas sensors in which electrical conductivity varies with the gas atmostphere surrounding them. Particularly, many researchers are reporting on metal oxide nano-structures in terms of high sensitivity and responsitity which are attributed to the high surface-to-volume ratio. In this report, we demonstrate the fabrication method of high performance hydrogen gas sensors using TiO2 nanotubes. |
