Improved Performance in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells Employing UV-O3 treatment to TiO2 layer |
초록 |
A new method for the preparation of TiO2 films with high performance in the dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) has been studied. The TiO2 paste was deposited by the doctor blade method and then dried and simultaneously treated with UV-O3. The solar conversion efficiency of the DSSCs was improved by UV-ozone treatment of the TiO2 before sintering Residual organics originating from the TiO2 precursor pastes were removed by UV-O3 treatment of the films, resulting in the improvement of the cell efficiency. UV-Vis absorption showed that the effect of the UV-O3 treatment increased the adsorption of dyes to the surface of the mesoporous TiO2 layer. The power conversion efficiency of the cells of 7.2 %; Voc = 0.71V; Jsc = 15.2 mA/cm2 and a fill factor = 0.67, under illumination with AM 1.5 (100mW/cm2) simulated sunlight. |
