Creep is the tendency of a solid material to slowly move or deform permanently under the influence of stresses. Lately, we have present the quantitative and reproducible determination of the viscoelastic properties of dental pastes. The aim of this investigation was to study on the rate of deformation mechanism of commercial major types of dental luting cements by creep techniques. In addition, we demonstrated the shear bonding strength-dependent of the creep test results. From the research, the measurement of the creep test will help in advancing our understanding of the dental luting cement. |
