제목 | Colorimetric Detection of Cadmium Ions (Cd2+) in Water Using Composites of Gold Nanoparticle with Silica (GNP-SiO2) from Rice Husk. |
초록 | Contamination in environment by heavy meatal ions has increased because of illegal emission of waste water from factories brought critical health problem. Hence, detecting method of polluted water is important issue. We need to detect the heavy metal ions quickly even its concentration is low. Here, GNP-SiO2 was used as a detector since GNP has colorimetric property on its size and high porous nano silica has an advantage for absorbance metal ion efficiency. Besides, silica is obtained from rice husk drawing ecofriendly and economic benefits. GNP-SiO2 was prepared by reaction of GNP and silica modified thiol group which makes GNP be stable. Detecting test of the composite on Cd2+ was conducted under different concentration condition and color on degree of contamination was observed by bare eyes. The samples were confirmed by FTIR, UV-Spectra analysis and images depending on pollution degree. We will progress to improve this colorimetric detector for its sensitivity and selectivity. |
