제목 The abrasion resistance and the thermal properties of electron beam cured Nylon 12
초록 Nylon has been widely used as an important high performance engineering plastic in various fields since they have excellent physico-mechanical properties. Further enhancing the heat resistance by radiation curing is still interesting to many radiation chemistry. In this study, Nylon 12 was cured using the electron beam from 100 to 600kGy for enhancing the various properties. The electron beam curing was used to crosslink a Nylon 12 with triallyl cyanurate, triallyl isocyanurate, trimethylopropane trimethacrylate as curing agents. The gel content, the thermal properties and the abrasion resistance were characterized by soxhlet apparatus, DSC and TABER abrader, respectively
