제목 Diketopyrrolopyrrole-based Conjugated Polymer Containing Siloxane Side-chains for Electronic Applications
초록 In the respect of side-chain engineering, the branched side-chains have great advantages in terms of solubility of DPP-based conjugated polymer compared to linear side-chains. Besides branched and linear alkyl side-chains tethered to polymer backbone, it is already confirmed that a side chain with siloxane group has advantage in facile packing of polymer chains. Recently, a few research groups worked on the siloxane side-chain and investigate its importance for making new polymers with improved solubility and electronic properties. According to the significance of side-chain engineering, herein, we demonstrated the DPP-based conjugated polymer containing relatively longer siloxane side-chains and we further explored that siloxane side-chain is not simply limited to specific polymers which are already reported. Thermal analysis, absorption spectroscopy, and electrochemical analysis were employed to characterize the properties of the polymer.
