The photo-catalytic decomposition of gas phase Aldehyde by anodized TiO2 |
초록 |
Anodized Ti plate surface covered by titanium dioxide. A number of pore exist on there surface and thickness of coated TiO2 is about 400-1000nm. Anodized TiO2 has photo-catalytic activity. Also it can be used as photo-catalytic electrode. The effect of electrochemical reaction increase decomposition rate of gas phase Aldehyde. Because electrochemical reaction makes change the work function of anodized TiO2 surface and band gap energy. Recently Aldehyde strike environmental problem. Its cause sick building syndrome and cancer. In this study Aldehyde was decomposed by anodized TiO2 with different humidity level. The presences of water accelerate photoreaction and electrochemical reaction. In photoreaction, hydroxyl group was consumed and regenerated by water. In electrochemical reaction, boundary potential difference develops by water. |
