제목 In-situ real-time IR monitoring of post-polymerization N-alkylation of poly(ethylene oxide) polyurethane
초록 The progress of N-alkylation reactions of poly(ethylene oxide) polyurethane was monitored by In situ real-time infrared spectroscopy. A chemical conversion profile of both metalation step and N-alkylation step for the reaction can be obtained from the monitoring of the change of the characteristic peak of the urethane and carbonyl. The effects of the properties of urethane moiety and aromatic or aliphatic moiety on the N-alkylation reaction of polyurethane can be examined with combining method of real-time infrared spectroscopy and FTIR.
