제목 Chemical looping-based oxidative coupling of methane with successive CO2 reduction on Sm-modified perovskite catalyst
초록 Methane (CH4) itself can be an alternative clean fuel resource, however, the dimerization reaction to form C2+ hydrocarbons seems to be more efficient pathway to further produce petrochemical intermediates. Chemical looping-based oxidative coupling of CH4 (CL-OCM) with successive CO2 reduction to CO can be one of alternative process to adjust COx formation rate as well as to minimize coke depositions. The redox cycle natures on Sm-modified perovskite catalysts for CH4 coupling and successive CO2 activation were investigated to verify the different catalytic activity and stability for the cyclic CL-OCM reactions.
